Orchidées no 2

2025

Ink on rice paper. A wild Chinese orchid rises delicately from the earth, expressed solely through shades of black and white. The simplicity of the sumi-e reveals both its fragility and inner strength, while its deeply rooted presence symbolizes stability, perseverance, and a profound connection to the earth.
